Is $270 for monthly utility bills too much 💰 ?

First of all, this is my husband’s domain 👉🏼👈🏼 I manage the design and housekeeping side of things while he’s responsible for setting up all the networks and GIRO payment for all of our utility bills + maintenance of the house. Speaking of GIRO payment, it’s linked to our joint account which really makes everything easier when it comes to such expenditure which concerns the both of us. Shall elaborate more in another post on why we are strong advocates for joint accounts.

✨ 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗼 𝘀𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹!

👉🏼 We are a household of 3 living in a 4 room BTO (the larger your house the higher the S&CC 💰)

👉🏼 We sleep with both the AC + fan every night

👉🏼 I believe the bulk of the electrical stuff which consumes the most amount of electricity are the washing machine, fridge, water heater, the AC and fans. We don’t cook that often.

👉🏼 We use Google smart home automation which is pretty much turned on 24/7.

👉🏼 We use an induction stove so we do not have any gas expenses!

👉🏼 Water consumption wise, we shower once-twice a day and we spin the laundry every 2-3 days per week.

👉🏼 We use MyRepublic for the wifi which is turned on 24/7.
