We’re on a dinner cooking spree 😅 Usually we don’t cook that often but I’m not sure why we’ve cooked for the past 3 consecutive evenings.

Hubs made a quick dinner with whatever he could find in the fridge. We had beef ramly patty but no burger buns…So we did a little improvisation with frozen roti prata. The end product was DELISH YUMYUM 🤤 It had a texture that resembles croissant which is quite amazing.

Here are the 7 ingredients you’ll need to make 2 pieces:

🫓 2x Frozen roti prata - We bought the 6 pcs packet Chinatown brand from Sheng Siong

🥩 1x Ramly beef patty - You can definitely substitute with fish, chicken or veggie patties

🍅 Cherry tomatoes

🧀 Mozzarella cheese - Bega brand (I think cheddar will taste even yummier)

🧈 Butter - We always use SCS

🥚 Mayonnaise - Heinz

🌶️ Chilli sauce

🍳 We didn’t add egg but you can do the ramly style by wrapping the egg omelette with the patty or you can also do a sunny side up too!

😗 The recipe is quick and easy:

1. Dice up your cherry tomatoes

2. Add butter and oil into the saucepan and pan fry the meat patty. Once done, remove from pan and cut into half.

3. Using the remaining oil/butter in the pan, pan fry the frozen roti prata. This is the way to get the prata super buttery and flakey. You can also opt for totally no oil but it won’t be as crispy.

4. When the prata is almost charred, sprinkle a generous amount of cheese, diced cherry tomatoes and place half the patty onto one side of the prata.

5. Add desired amount of mayo and chilli sauce

6. Fold the prata in half and leave it on the pan for another few seconds so that the shape of the taco holds itself

And there you have it! Time to dig in 🤤
