YOUR BEGINNER'S GUIDE TO HOI AN 🇻🇳🪭🏮

it's rlly a waste if you visit Da Nang and didn't visit Hoi An.... you can definitely spend a whole day there if you want to! we started off our day somewhere else near Hoi An and went to take the popular coconut boat ride at the That Cha River and it was less than $10 SGD and tbh it was quite worth! just that... halfway through the boat ride they stopped and offered to do the famous spinning thing that you probably might have seen a lot of tourists doing 😮‍💨 i thought it was gonna be damn fun & memorable and YES it was memorable but O M G not in a good way... usually i don't get motion sickness but that ride rlly killed me BAHAHAHAHA i rlly rlly recommend skipping on that spinning thing and just riding through the river normally! you even have to pay an extra 20,000 vietnamese dong just to experience the spin so i rather you don't unless you're very sure you'll be fine because i really nearly passed out doing it 😀😀😀

after that we went to the main Hoi An area and it was bustling with so many people! the whole area was sooooo lovely and it was so beautiful during sunset 🥹 we started our time there first with eating! (i'm so sorry i forgot where we ate but it was so-so only so don't worry) and then started to go museum/exhibition hopping! btw you have to purchase a ticket into Hoi An and the ticket entitles you to visit almost every exhibition there is located in Hoi An and that was basically what we did other than the usual shopping and sightseeing! there were quite a few beautiful temples as well that you can pay a visit and the shopping there was pretty good ngl. it was slightly pricier than the less touristy spots in Da Nang but overall still affordable. it's also harder to negotiate there as they all know you're tourists but the fashion items there is also more trendy too! 😋

after the insane amount of walking and taking of ootd shots at every corner of Hoi An, we watched the sunset by the river and waited for our time to take another boat ride! don't worry, this one is so much more calm HAHAHA no puking involved 😙 we got our boat ride + releasing of wish lantern ticket on klook - much cheaper than buying on the spot there btw! (less than $10~) after we were done with it, we ended our day with more food at a nearby night market located in Hoi An as well!
