MUST VISIT: Seoul Wave Art Center Starbucks

I saw a few videos about this Starbucks and added it to my itinerary. but on the way there, I got a bit skeptical because it’s just a Starbucks after all.

but omg this place did not disappoint!! you must visit during sunset time 🥺 it’s actually soooooo gorgeous and overlooks the hangang. I would say that the night view is also really nice too :) but the sunset is just unrivalled. u can also enjoy the banpo hangang park light show from here!

we also got some snacks to try 😋

1. classic scone | 5/5 🌟

this was so unexpectedly good and a must try!! the crust is slightly sweet and the inside is so light and airy! super good and I’m craving for it again 🤤

2. fresh cream castella cake | 4/5

this was very fluffy and thick but it’s also just 50% fresh cream

3. real tofu chip | 2.5/5

this tastes more like sesame and was pretty dry and hard. bonus points for being vegetarian tho

4. purple drink with mango & dragonfruit refresher | 3.5/5

hmmmm not very sure what this is supposed to taste like tbh. just kinda mid. I think I prefer the pink drink but since this is a summer special, I think it’s worth a try! also really pretty drink.

5. korea heritage collection mug

this is my favourite purchase so far! it is so pretty and uniquely korea! will definitely recommend if you like collecting mugs (they also have tumblers)

there’s also an emart here if you intend to buy food to picnic at the banpo hangang park! I definitely think this place is worth a visit and would love to visit again
