don't miss out on this for 1 for 1 Brunch Deal !!

I visited Home Dawn, a newly-opened cafe at Clarke Quay, to enjoy their 1 for 1 brunch promo on a Sunday at 12 noon and the place was packed upon our arrival, with most of the empty tables having the 'reserved' placeholder on it. We made a reservation but had to wait awhile for a table to be cleared before being seated.

My friend and I ordered their smoked salmon benedict ($23++) and homie's brekkie ($25++). We both agreed the scrambled eggs in the breakfast platter was the highlight of the meal and the mushrooms were surprisingly nice. The doneness of the eggs benedict differed: mine was runny with the egg yolk oozing out while my friend's was more like the egg yolk of a hanjuku egg.

Service wise, I could tell they were understaffed especially since most the tables were filled. It took awhile to get the attention of a waiter to order even though we were seated extremely close to the kitchen and counter area.

Their brunch promo was originally scheduled to end in February, but they're extending it till 31 March!

If you're thinking of visiting, do remember to make a reservation and wear comfortable shoes when going as there is a semi-steep flight of stairs to climb to reach the place.

Overall, it was a good meal and we each paid $14.99 after gst and service charge. We would definitely be back to try their mains and hope that next time, we can get a table near the window to enjoy the view with our meal!
