SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN SCOOT! | 🇨🇳 Chongqing Pt. 1

I’m generally fine with Scoot because I’m paying for what I get right? 💰BUT THIS AIRLINE IS SOOO MUCH BETTER THAN SCOOT, and I’ll always choose this over Scoot from now on!

✈️ 𝙖𝙞𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙚: China Southern Airlines (code share Chongqing Airlines)

💰 𝙥𝙧𝙞𝙘𝙚: $371.60 round trip to Chongqing, inclusive of 2x 23kg of checked luggage and 1x 8kg of hand carry (not strict on the hand carry) and FOOD 🍴

I was going to take Scoot since it’s an airline I’m more familiar with but they have no direct flight to Chongqing. I was considering Singapore Airlines since it wasn’t crazily expensive but the timing of the flights are horrible, landing at 2am. I didn’t want to be in a foreign land at 2am and potentially having no transport to the hotel.

I researched and found China Southern Airlines with GREAT reviews so I decided to take it (it’s a codeshare flight with Chongqing Airlines). Timing was great, on departure day I could sleep in and take my time to head to the airport and arrive in CQ for a late dinner.

Service was great! The staff spoke super politely in a very warm polite tone, the way they call me 女士 and politely informing me things like please stow your bags as we are preparing to take off etc. as compared to Scoot ‘Miss stow your bags underneath’ in a slightly more commanding tone. Once again, I’m not complaining about Scoot, I pay for what I get and they were neither impolite nor straight up rude, just pointing out the difference. The ticket had some design and was really cool :-)) Food is okok and drinks include the standard like coke, juice, wine etc.
