Show up for yourself at the gym...

Let’s be honest, today I did NOT want to do anything active. I was grumpy from my work day, I felt scattered and bloated. I just felt BLAH and was in my feels - we all have been there before...

Whenever I feel this way, I look at my favorite quotes or sayings. Little reminders of "hey you got this" or just someone to tell me to stop being in my own way and to show up for myself because no one is going to force it. I sometimes think, why do I show up for meetings or events but I can't bring myself to get that excited about being active for myself some days? I owe myself the same dedication because I am the caregiver for myself as well!

So if you're like me today, listen to your body BUT also acknowledge when its time to show up as discipline - not motivation.
