Aug ‘24: $51k/50k Reached my annual savings goal!!

Hi all~ a very belated post again 😅 very happy to announce that I’ve reached my annual savings goal!! I was working hard to save up as I probably won’t be able to save much the last few months as I go on my big trip. I have a few items on my wishlist 🥺🥺

I deviated from my usual IVV DCA in August as the price of Nvidia slumped to ~$104 which I thought was a good entry price. Turns out it was quite a good move as the price is hovering around $137 now. I intend to sell it as it was meant to be a short term trade.

Visited Bangkok, Thailand in August! The bkk trip was such a good getaway I enjoyed myself thoroughly. Highlight of the trip ought to be the cooking class where we were taught how to cook 5 Thai dishes! Super yummy if I May say so myself 😋

Also treated myself to a nice omakase at Ginza Sushi Ichi in August. Ginza Sushi Ichi never fails - absolutely deserving of their Michelin star!
