1 pound of hamburger
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon garlic powder

Next:
1 medium onion, ๐ง chopped
4 cloves garlic ๐ง chopped, you can use the handy tool that I show in the video to make kitchen prep easy comment โchopperโ to get a link for the product.
Add the chopped onion and garlic to hamburger mixture. (no need to sautรฉ this any further)
Next:
4 medium potatoes ๐ฅ use a knife or mandolin to cut thin slices.
20-32oz Frankโs Sauerkraut
1 - 8 oz can mushrooms, drained
These items will all be used for layering the hot dish.
Sauce:
1 can, unsalted cream of chicken soup
1/4 cup sour cream
Add milk so that all liquid ingredients measure 2 1/4 cups. This includes the chicken soup and sour cream.

First spray bottom of your Dutch oven or glass baking dish with oil, start by layering the hamburger mixture, mushrooms, potatoes, sauerkraut, then pour a portion of the sauce on top, continue to layer until all ingredients are used up, leaving enough sauce to cover the top. Cover and bake for one and a half hours. Allow to sit 15 min before serving. Enjoy.
