These five books profoundly changed how I see myself and the world around me. Here’s a little summary and what each taught me:

2. Braiding Sweetgrass 🌱: Written by a botanist and indigenous woman, this book combines science and spirituality in a way that makes all elements of the natural world pure poetry.
🧑🏾🏫What it taught me: To live more sustainably and live more connected to nature. To appreciate all living things and value the beauty in the every day.

👨🏽🏫What it taught me: That the most important relationship you’ll have in life is the one with yourself so to take time fostering it.
4. The Power of Now ⏰: The OG spirituality read, about understanding the mind, the ego, and consciousness.
👩🏼🏫What it taught me: The importance of presence, the lifetime work of dissolving the ego self, the interconnectedness to others.
5. You Are the Placebo 💪🏻: A book about the power of belief and of medicine untouched by the western world.
