Nian Gao Waffles with Ice cream??😍

Recently chanced upon this simple yet aesthetic tea inspired ice cream store🤤 Located in the heart of Chinatown, it stood out to me amongst the other traditional relic stores. Went around 8pm ++ on a Friday evening and boy was it crowded….. They have seats inside the store and outside but would

highly recommend sitting inside for the ambience and AIRCON!!!

I tried the Nian Gao Waffles with Tie Guan Yin ice cream and chamomile with butterfly pea ice cream 🧇 🍨 It cost around $15++ and I spilt it between me and my friend so each of us paid around $7.50+

Overall, I would say the ice cream flavours tasted m refreshing , not too gelat/heavy. The flavors are not too sweet either and they all have a hint of tea taste. The Tie Guan Yin flavour was ok… it had a very mild undertone and I wasn’t a v big fan of it . But the Chamomile with butterfly pea flavor however, I RLLY LOVED IT!!! We could taste the chamomile flavour in the ice cream and it was damn addictive tbh…🤤🤤🤤 The Nian Gao waffles were not bad but I expected more chewiness? The waffles had a more crispy exterior and the mochi like texture was clustered around the middle of the waffle. I would rate this place a 3.5/5 , would come again but maybe not often.
