A couple tips for royal Icing!

I have been making royal icing sugar cookies for 4 years and have discovered some helpful tips!

//make sure your consistency is thick enough so it doesn’t go all over! Achieve a thicker consistency by adding powdered sugar little bits at a time!e

// add corn syrup to your icing- just a tablespoon or so! It adds a nice shine, as well as a softer bite! No one likes a rock hard icing! Always add flavor extract as well! I usually do vanilla extract! Chalky tasting royal icing is also no good!
