SORORITY GIRL??? 💙💛🐬

i was never the sorority type. the screaming and chanting and bubbly personality was just not for me…or so i thought. after having a very hard time my first year of college i decided that rush was a good option. since i go to an academically rigorous school we rush in january instead of august. honestly that’s the only reason i considered it. so i did rush and ended up in tri delta which i didn’t want a first, but after the first day i realized i would die if i wasn’t in it. i screamed opening my bid card and ran home to the best family i could ask for. i found an amazing big sister and met lots of people. again i am just simply not the sorority, but now that i’m in one i would consider myself a d1 sorority girl. i would sell a limb for our philanthropy (st jude) and you will often catch me screaming our delta delta til we die chant. anyways all of this to say maybe this could be a sign for someone who doesn’t think they have what it takes to be a sorority girl. here’s why i think you should rush

1. you meet SO many people. even if you just talked to them during rounds and didn’t end up join their chapter. you can still be friends

2. the community is amazing. so many girl who will literally do ANYTHING for you

3. sorority’s have come a long way in terms of being inclusive to everyone
