Things I Wish I Was Told BEFORE Solo Traveling: #3

Things I wish I was told before solo traveling after doing it for over 2 and a half years ⬇️

1. Money is not everything. Don't neglect yourself of experiences that could be once in a lifetime to save an extra $100. If it's a dream excursion, do it while you're already there because who knows if you will actually get to "do it another time".

2. You're going to make mistakes and that's OKAY. You will overspend, get heartbroken, get lost, lose your papers, miss a flight etc. You just have to take things as they come. Trust me, it will never be perfect!

3. Always take time to reflect and have gratitude. In the busyness of things it's easy to just let the days slip by without fully appreciating the moments. Be sure to sit and realize how amazing it is you’re even getting to experience this and how much of a privilege it is you have a working body to do so!!
