Nose surgery infection?!

Into the second month after nose job, I realised there was more swelling than the first month. It was getting big from the inside of the nostril. I can feel the warmth and “expanding” from underneath the skin.

During that whole month whenever I get my face washed, wet or shower, I can smell something funny or fishy from inside of my nostrils, and yes the same smell when your wound is healing.

And slowly, the wound inside the nostril started to have discharge. 😱 I got panicked, i was so scared that its an INFECTION which everyone is talking about and what all procedures tried to avoid.

After consulting the doctor, it was NOT an infection. Thank god! It is the discharge of dissolved stitch from underneath the skin. 🫣

The discharge lasted 2 weeks. I would have to constantly clean my nostrils as if I’m having flu/sinus. 🤧 Waking up in the morning with harden discharge around the nostrils wound was also what I was encountering for that week. Ya it wasn’t easy to clean the harden discharge. 😥 it was painful and sensitive. 👃
