Make fried plantains with me

•STEP 1

wash your plantains

peel them

cut them into pieces

•STEP 2

In a bowl: put water, a little salt and white vinegar then mix

•STEP 3

in the solution you have just prepared put your plantains and let soak for 3 to 5 minutes

•STEP 4

put the plantains in the oil over medium heat for a few minutes then remove them with out letting them cook all the way through

•STEP 5 & 6

press the plantains with a plantain press then put them in the oil until they are crispy

INGREDIENTS : salt, water, oil, (white vinegar optional)

📝 : if you do not have a plantain press you can use your cutting board and a plate
