Tips to upgrade your selfie game!

Have you ever scrolled through social media platforms and felt envious of celebs/creators who always look so good in every photo? Well, I’m here to help you!

I’m going to share some selfie/self-portrait tips with you from a photographer’s perspective ✨

[ 1: skincare ]

For any cosmetic products to glide on smoothly on your skin, a good complexion is key. Always moisturise your skin especially before applying foundation. Trust me, it makes A LOT of difference.

[ 2: lighting ]

In photography we always say no light = no photos. Always take photos in well lit places if you want to look refreshed and glowing! A slightly cloudy day will give your skin that soft skin effect. Avoid harsh mid noon sun at all cost.

[ 3: styling ]

Knowing the right type of clothes that work for your body shape is important too. After all, feeling comfortable in an outfit will boost your confidence as well. I personally prefer more timeless classic pieces that can be mixed and matched. A wardrobe staple like a white tailored shirt (also known as a shirt dress) is very useful.
