master this trick to UP your selfie game💯

ok disclaimer; this is for iphone users (sorry guys; it’s cuz i use iphone..)

if you’re still using your front cam to take your selfies; girlie stop!! use your back camera instead, because trust me, it is a LIFE CHANGER‼️

the quality of your pics will be much MUCH better and the colour composition is better too!! plus it works great for group pics (captures everyone) and it captures the background well too (great if you have a pretty backdrop/scenery!)

experiment with different angles and settings; especially the x0.5 zoom feature and flash - i really love these settings cuz the angle is somehow a lot more flattering and the flash gives a v y2k vibe to the pics (esp if youre indoor or in a darker space)!!✨

here’s a simple guide to taking slay selfies (this worked for me but you may have to experiment a little for yourself!):

1. hold your camera directly in front of your face

2. elevate your arm a little (like 10-20 degrees ish)

3. and snap! - i like to tilt my head towards the arm holding the phone so you could try that too!

ok but ngl, it did take some time to get used to; so here’s how you can master this trick:

practice!! but practice in front of the mirror to get used to angles and this way you can actually see how you look like so you can practice your poses too!

of course you could also do self-timer but to do that it is still good to know your angles and stuff~

don’t be intimidated by the fact that you can’t see yourself, try it out and i promise the results are worth it!🫶🏼
