When I see my friends earning more, going on trips, getting their BTO, having their life together, sometimes I wish I had a corporate life.
Climbing the ladder, getting the moolah, but in a job that they seem happy in. (But who knows?)
Unfortunately (or fortunately?), I’m not going in that direction.
1. My degree in sports science doesn’t really help with that.
2. My 1.5 years of working in supply chain (which I had little to no clue what I was doing) doesn’t really help either.
3. Currently in a shift-based fitness trainer job that really really doesn’t help.
I’m like a lost bee, buzzing around from left to right, not knowing which way to go.
But as I’m typing this out, I realise that because I don’t have a set path, I am free to do whatever I want to do. And having freedom is a privilege that not many have.
