Starting your first job? Read this!

I'll be starting my first big girl job in a few weeks & i'm super nervous... I had internships & many work experiences but a FT role just hits different🥲 I complied some things that one should know before starting their first job!

1. Dress to impress

2. Take the initiative to make friends

3. Understand your roles & responsibilities

4. Go through your contract

5. Use the probation period wisely

6. Give yourself time to adjust

7. Know your worth

A FT role does not have an end date so you are technically there till you decide its time to go. Hence everything that I mentioned will ensure that your time there is worth while & enjoyable. Yes a job is a job but remember that you also have your rights & you should know what is reasonable & whats not. Being pushed around leads to burn out & poor performance which isn't good for either parties.
