Must-See Waterfall in Ubud, Bali 🇮🇩

This waterfall is popular with tourists and locals alike, and for good reason. Kanto Lampo’s waterfall cascades over large, layered rock formations. If you’re brave, you can cling to the top and stand under the deluge of water for your pics.

A few things to keep in mind:

• There’s an entrance fee of 10,00 IDR, which roughly converts to $0.66 USD. Most attractions in Bali charge an entrance fee, but proceeds benefit the local economy.

• It’s right outside of the main town of Ubud and can be reached by taxi, motorbike, rental car, or an organized tour. We got there with our motorbikes.

• Compared to other waterfalls, the trek to get down (and up) isn’t too bad, but it does require traversing steps that can be slippery. There are many small shops and restaurants along the way if you get thirsty or need a snack!

• Don’t miss out on the rock pool that’s in the opposite direction of the waterfall.

• 9/10, there’s going to be a line for taking pics at the waterfall, no matter what time of day you go. Bali is a popular island & there’s often no way around the crowds 🤷🏽focus on just enjoying your time there!
