GUIDE TO HAVASU FALLS

Havasu Falls is one of the most magnificent waterfalls in the United States. Located in Arizona, the bright blue water is an oasis in the Southwest desert. 

Havasu Falls is located on the Havasupai tribe's land. You must obtain a permit from their website for this overnight hike. All camping permits are for 3 nights in the campground right next to the waterfall.

Things to know about Havasupai:

-It is an 8 mile hike to the Supai village

-You must wear a mask in the village

-Don’t photograph or film the village or its residents

-Havasu Falls is 2 miles past the village

-The campground is only a short walk from the Falls

-Bring cash for fry bread stands near the campsite

-Mooney Falls is at the opposite end of the campsite

-The hike to the bottom of Mooney Falls is quite dangerous on steep, slick stairs and metal chains

-Beaver Falls is 2 miles past Mooney Falls

-You have to cross several streams and climb ladders to Beaver Falls

-Hike early in the day before it is hot!
