3 course dinner at the top of MBS!! 😍❤️✨

Introducing one of my ABSOLUTE favourite restaurants in Singapore for date nights/special occasions - SPAGO DINING ROOM 😍 by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck ✨

We ordered the 3-course dinner set, each priced at $88 (before GST & service charge). This visit was back in Sep 2023 but the base price remains the same as at Aug 2024 🎉 (the menu seems to have expanded! 😲😜)

What I love about the dinner set at Spago is that there are sufficient options to choose from, and you get to try Wolfgang Puck's signature dishes without having to top up extra! 🥹🥹🥹

Here's what we ordered/ate:

There were 3 diff types!

1. Amuse Bouche

💁🏽‍♂️Him: Hamachi & Hokkaido Scallop Ceviche

Can't go wrong with this!!

💁🏻‍♀️Her: Big Eye Tuna Tartare Cone (SIGNATURE!!)

Warning: This was actually spicy cus of the wasabi but I still think it's a must order cus of its unique flavour profile & presentation. It can be a lil messy to eat hahaha but it's fun to eat it in a cone 🤪

2. Main course

💁🏽‍♂️Him: Charcoal Grilled Irish Duck Breast

Wow this was very tender!!!

💁🏻‍♀️Her: Honey Miso Broiled Black Cod (SIGNATURE!!)

Omg this was a burst of umami damn shiok 💯 I actually liked that the fish was served with rice ...HAHAHA the asian in me was highly satisfied.

3. Dessert

💁🏽‍♂️Him: Buah Keluak-Coconut coffee

Peranakan-inspired but frankly we were a bit confused by this.. think it was supposed to be chocolate?? but hmm, not a big fan of the flavours. maybe order this if you really like the bitterness of coffee??

💁🏻‍♀️Her: Salted Caramel Souffle

Kind of sweet! Fuji apple sorbet went well with it.

As it was a birthday celebration, I received a lovely slice of chocolate cake (this tasted guuuuddddd) & a card handsigned by the staff! ☺️

- Drinks🥂(FYI their drinks have such amusing-sounding names hahaha)

for someone that doesn't drink much, I actually enjoyed this! and it looks damn chio pls 😍

✨Final Thoughts

Overall I highly recommend Spago for the food, views & vibes! ✨ You get to dress up, dine at the top of the Marina Bay Sands & see the amazing Singapore skyline w/o breaking the bank!! And we were both damn full at the end 😅

There is an option of dining alfresco or indoors but I would have a slight preference for indoors cus there's aircon + lighting is better for photos + you are shielded from rain (strong winds will blow some rain in)

Also, we were at Spago on the 2023 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix race night 🏁 In case anyone's wondering, there isn't a vantage point at the restaurant to see the cars but you can hear the engines! If you wish to catch the fireworks (normally at 10pm once there is a race winner) for this year's night race, NO GUARANTEE but you may want to check out Spago Bar & Lounge instead!
