I’ve been adding kettlebell swings to my workout a lot! I love that it’s a full body burn and it gets my heart rate up high. And I only need one kettlebell‼️ 🔔
It’s easy to get this workout wrong, I’ve made some mistakes too but I’m here to help with some tips for you to really feel the burn 🔥
KETTLEBELL SWINGS
what does it work?
basically almost your entire body!! Glutes, quads, back, core, and even forearms‼️
How to:
🟤 start with a hinge hip movement - soft knees and push your bum back. It’s important that it’s NOT a squat.
🟤 roll your shoulder back to engage your back
🟤push thru your HIPS. The swing should be coming from your hips and less on your arms
🟤 at the top of the swing, ensure your body is straight. Engage your core and glute to achieve this. Your back shouldn’t be arched.
🟤 the kettle bell should be at chest height!
When everything is put together you should have a Mean, Strong, Swing 💪🏽
I usually do this as a cardio burner at the end of my workout! I recommend doing this for 30 seconds x 4 reps with a 30 seconds break in between
