Things to Do in Seoul

I traveled to Seoul, South Korea this past April and had an amazing time! Here are a few of the many things to do in this beautiful city:

Food and Drink Tour: While my husband was working, I went on the “Eat and Drink Through the Seoul Alleys” tour. I booked this tour through AirBnB experiences (hosted by Mike), and I’m so glad I did! I joined a group of 10 people from all over the world. We walked through Gwangjang Market, local restaurants, and bars learning about Korean culture and cuisine. I even went and grabbed drinks with some of the people I met on the tour after it ended.

Ihwa Mural Village: A fun instagrammable spot to walk around near Naksan Park. I took the metro to Hyehwa station and walked 10 minutes uphill to the art-covered neighborhood. The area was revitalized by the Ministry of Culture and contains paintings and art installations from about 70 artists.

Gyeongbokgung Palace: A stunning piece of history, this palace was built in 1395. I highly recommend taking a guided tour of the facility to get the most out of your experience. Go in the morning to view the changing of the guards!

Namsan Cable Car: Take the Namsan Cable Car for panoramic views of the city near the top of Mt. Namsan. You also have the option of visiting N Seoul Tower.

Attend a Baseball Game: If you are a MLB fan, this is a must! It was so fun to see how involved and enthusiastic the fans were during the game. They sang a unique chant for each player at bat and I loved how everyone knew the words to every song. We attended a LG vs Kia game at Jasmil Park and were able to purchase tickets the day of at the game.
