Here’s what I ate on my short trip to BKK as recommended by a local!

1. Wallflowers Cafe

Add this to your list of cafes if you’re cafe hopping! It’s on a street very close to Chinatown. It has a rustic, antique layout and beautiful floral cakes.

2. Fatboy Izakaya

This place is a gem for Japanese food! The food and cocktails are amazing, and the ambiance is great. Everything we tried was delicious and reasonably priced.

3. Sri Trat Restaurant & Bar

(Bib Gourmand, Michelin Guide Thailand 2022)

Perfect if you’re looking for authentic Thai cuisine. The menu is extensive and carefully curated to reflect the rich culinary heritage of Eastern Thailand.

4. Food @ EMSPHERE

This new mall opened in December 2023. The entire level is filled with food options, including popular chains like Keen Coffee and Pang Cha Thai Tea. However, I preferred BEANS Coffee to Keen Coffee. I was also recommended to eat at Zao Zen, which I loved! Definitely worth dropping by for a meal.
