My recovery journey in a nutshell

I want to treat this account like a digital journal of my recovery since my brain bleed in 2020.

I had a massive brain bleed end of June 2020. It was in my brain stem and they ended up having to do a craniotomy in September 2020 to remove the cavernous malformation that had bled.

I suffered stroke-like symptoms on my entire right side. I couldn’t eat, talk, or walk for a couple of months.

But as hard as all that was…the hardest part of the journey has been the 3 years since the actual bleed. I was left with some deficits. I had to learn how to walk again. I’m still in pt. I recently had to quit my job because it was just too much stress on my body. And that’s just scratching the surface 😅

But I’m learning that healing isn’t linear. And my experience has given me certain things that few people have. It’s let me see God’s grace in a whole different way.

So this account will be me just sharing my journey with y’all. Fitness, food, progress…all of it 😊
