A decade ago, my life was drastically different; I was caught in a destructive cycle of self-sabotage and substance abuse. I’ve been hesitant about talking about my past, but I no longer want to live my life with regret or shame. I choose to be happy and live a life that is full and beautiful. My mistakes and failures have made me realize how far I have come and the beauty that this world has to offer.

Recovery is possible. I hope that my journey can one day inspire someone amid their struggles. I am not a perfect person, but a progressing person. My motto is “Progression not perfection.”
