Hey Zesties 🍋 Craving for some delicious and satisfying Japanese cuisine? I have a great recommendation for yall! Part of the renowned Les Amis Group, Tenjin is known for its signature dish of Tempura Donburi, or tendon, featuring generous servings of seafood and vegetable tempura served over fluffy Hoshi-Jirushi rice from the Ibaraki prefecture. The smart-casual Japanese restaurant is located in Raffles City Mall, just 1-2 MRT stops from the CBD.

During my recent visit with my boyfriend, we ordered the Cold Inaniwa Udon Set ($24.80) which came with cold udon, assorted tempura, mentsuyu, and kyabetsu salad, as well as the Special Set ($14.80) which included prawn, vegetables, freedom range egg, and a choice of spicy or regular tare. The ingredients are so fresh and I enjoyed every single bite of it! Another dish that is worth trying would be the Truffle Chawanmushi ($4), it tasted so good 🥺

The restaurant's simple and neutral décor gave it a homey and clean feel, while the attentive service and friendly waitstaff added to the overall dining experience. You can also expect a casual and relaxing ambiance at Tenjin, making it the perfect spot for dining in with a small group of friends or family, or even enjoying some solitude and peace of mind alone 😌
