my go-to cafe for cakes: fieldnotes

SUCH FLUFFY CAKES. really im not the biggest fan of pastries and cakes but im convinced to get fieldnotes’ cakes for all my friends! the cakes are high quality and not overpowering in flavour, and have a refreshing palette the fruits used!

mango yuzu cake 🍰

one of their well-known cakes, and it definitely lives up to par! the mango bites complemented the light and fluffy cream, and their sponge filling was not dense and thick as a lot of cake shops do so! overall this really convinced me to come back and try their other flavours

sparkling strawberry bliss 🍓

incredibly refreshing, although it wasn’t as impressive as the cake! my favourite part about it was its sparkling flavour that bursts in your mouth. they also had dried strawberries to evolve the texture of the drink!

- quiet and peaceful ambience, and staff were extremely friendly as well

- decorated with many little details of nature that pull off a relaxing environment to sit down for long chats

- aesthetic candles! my favourite were the dinosaur ones, but they had your classy long metallic candles for those aesthetic birthday parties too!
