Cakes Worth the Money: Fieldnotes by Zee & Elle

Visited Fieldnotes by Zee & Elle last Saturday and I must say, they’ve got one of the best cakes I’ve ever had. I’m not much of a foodie, but I love desserts - especially cake - and good things must share!!!

Though I only had the Passionfruit Jasmine Cake ($8.50-$8.90) and the Chocolate Hazelnut Tart, but the Passionfruit Jasmine Cake was one of the most delightful ones I’ve tasted. Both the cream and sponge was light, but not compromising on flavour one bit. The tart was my second favourite 😂 But to support my claim, my best friend who visited with me has been patronising Zee & Elle ever since they were just an IG shop and she bakes so she knows her cakes too!

Recently I’ve been taking note of cake prices - Lady M is about $12-$13 💀 and Hans cakes are like $3-4 😂 but for this quality, $8-9 to dine in is a pretty decent treat!

The shop’s interior was minimalist and in neutral tones, good for a lot of aesthetic girly IG feeds 🤭 I will definitely be returning to try more flavours! 🫶🏻
