🇲🇾 How do I get scholarships during my degree😍✨

The scholarship award ceremony actually took place almost a year ago, but looking back over the past year, I still feel very fortunate and grateful, so I decided to share this opportunity with everyone.

I’m currently studying Accounting and Financial Technology at Taylor’s University, and I received the scholarship as a sophomore. So, don’t think that scholarships are only available before you start school! This scholarship is mainly open to second- or third-year students, and it’s provided by Generali Malaysia. It covers part of the tuition fees, along with additional benefits (such as a free laptop, etc.). The benefits may vary each year, so this is just a rough reference! After completing your studies, you’ll need to work for the company. You also need to maintain a minimum CGPA of 3.5 each semester; otherwise, you’ll need to explain yourself to them!

Application process:

1. Fill out the form online, upload your transcript and other relevant documents, and record a 5-minute self-introduction video.

2. An in-person interview. It involved a marketing case study. The topic was given the night before, and the next morning, we were randomly assigned to teams for a presentation. The presentation was delivered in front of 10 top management members, followed by a Q&A session.

3. A 1-on-1 interview. The interviewer asked about your future career plans and your academic background. The questions were relatively standard.

In addition to the monetary benefits, after successfully passing the interview, the company also organizes mentorship sessions, providing lots of networking opportunities with senior professionals. After graduation, you can also choose which department to work in, offering more career development flexibility. Mentors will give you advice, making it a win-win arrangement for both the students and the company.
