I’m mad at the first person who mentioned my weight to me.
I’m mad that I realized I was bigger before age 4.
I’m mad at society for glamorizing disordered eating.
I’m mad that my body bothers people.
I’m mad that plus-size people are assumed lazy or unhealthy.
I’m mad.
I’m mad that my ex for making me think I wasn’t enough and that’s why he slept with other people.
I’m mad at myself for believing I wasn’t enough.
I’m mad that I struggle now. Years later.
I’m mad that I’ve struggled to make friends. What’s wrong with me? (I thought)
I’m mad that I’ve held myself back for so long.
I’m mad I thought I was a problem that needed fixing.
I’m mad I spent so many years trying to shrink.

There’s so many reasons I could be mad.
