The Teacher has been my favorite book of 2024 so far.

It is a fast-paced psychological thriller with chapters that end in cliffhangers that will keep you up way past your bedtime. I finished this one in a day because I couldn’t put it down. With that being said, it contains content that is worthy of trigger warnings and won’t be for everyone.

There are multiple POVs along with twists and turns that I saw coming and some I didn’t see coming at all. I laughed out loud during points of the prologue and the first chapter. After I finished the book, those chapters weren’t as funny knowing what I know now… but they sure did reel me in and get me hooked.

Despite the heavy nature of the overall storyline, I was so sad when this wild ride of a book was over. That last chapter and the epilogue had me on the floor!

If you’re okay with the trigger warnings, this book needs to be moved to the very tip-top of your tbr list.
