Freida does it AGAIN!!!

Plot Summary:

The story follows Evie who is a teacher at Caseham High, where Addie is a student. Addie is the hot topic from a scandal that happened in the previous year. The rumors say that Addie was in a student- teacher affair. Now no one trusts Addie, her friends have turned up their nose to her, and teachers try to stay as far away from her as possible. Evie is known as a rough Math teacher, and when Addie lands in her Math class she is unhappy. She knows that Addie can't be trusted but she doesn't know to what extent. But what everyone doesn't know is that Evie isn't a perfect teacher.

Review:

This book was unputdownable! As with many of Freida's books I was immediately captured and drawn in by the very first chapter. Addie's character made me feel both sorrow and unease which was perfect as the plot of this book is around High School students/teachers, and lets be honest all High School experiences are both sorrow and unease haha. There were moments in the book that made me want to ride at dawn with her (meaning lets go catch some people and deliver justice), while there were points that made me gasp and go oh my Addie, why? Evie was almost unbearable to me. She was written as the perfect antagonist and in parts a total hypocrite. As with Freida books we KNOW to expect a massive twist, and when I tell you there were multiple in this book... THERE WERE MULTIPLE IN THIS BOOK. Just when I thought I figured it out, and got my footing, boom another twist. Surprisingly, or unsurprisingly enough each twist managed to make me gasp and go where is this going?! I tell you this book had me in an absolute chokehold and refused to let go. I started the book early in the morning and finished it in the same day. Which is honestly with my schedule a very rare occasion. If you haven't read this book yet I BEG you to do so. It will leave your mouth hanging and your brain saying What Did I Just Read??

The character development, the ebbs and flows, the deception, the twists everything led me to this rating. If you have never or have someone you know that has never read a Freida book I recommend this book.
