YOUR SIGN TO GO LANGKAWI! 🌴

we took a girls trip to langkawi in jan for 5 days and 4 nights and we LOVED IT! so here’s some recommendations that we did during these 5 days!!

AIRBNB:

- we stayed in ecohouse which is quite an ulu place but very near to the airport

- we chose to stay there cause the airbnb website promised there were cows outside the house WHICH WE WERE SO SURPRISED that they were literally just right outside..

- toilet is really quite small but the 5 of us were okay w it

- there are a lot of insects.. but you can ask the host to pass you insect repellent

FOOD:

1. Gallo Nero Italian Restaurant

- it’s not good and it’s expensive (we were tricked by the google reviews)

- yes the italian food looks interesting but the portions are really small and not that amazing for the price

2. Kalut bar

- we tried the drinks here which were quite nice !

- we watched the fire show (and participated..) which was probably one of the highlights of our trip

3. Kelapa Cafe

- the food was GOOD and the cafe is vv cute

- we ordered the mac & cheese, buttermilk chicken & rice

- the drinks are also rly good !! (matcha, mocha & the smoothies)

- take note there’s no aircon but we felt it was okay

4. 3PM desert cafe

- very nice for a mid day desert!

- i thought the drinks were also v nice like the coffee and tea

5. Weng Fung Seafood Restaurant

- WOW we loved this place, it’s a zichar place and we ordered sm & the food is so cheap

- next door there is a small bar also whereby we had mojitos!!

6. Smiling Buffolo Cafe

- thought the food was not bad !! but not amazing

- western / italian type of food

ACTIVITIES

- Mangrove Tour (booked on klook)

- Jetskii + Island hopping (VERY FUN!!)

- Night market (every day has a diff night market so u have to go and check!)

- Langkawi Sky Cab

MASSAGE

- Alun Alun (we felt it was overpriced but def good)

- Bedrock island health & beauty centre (wah the foot massage was quite good !! n we like the packages)

Overall, it’s a nice place to go on a short trip with your friends hehe HIGHLY RECOMMEND 🤍
