LEGIT $1.50/pax hotpot soup bases?!?! 🤯

Ello! I recently decided to try cooking at home for myself to save costs on food, and I stumbled upon soup bases in muji when I was shopping at jewel. I hate cooking and I’m bad at it, but I always wanted to make my own Korean soup (kimchi/ tofu soup) at home to eat it with rice and seaweed. So when I saw this I had to try it!!!

There’s 4 packets (of paste) in a pack, and they recommend 1 packet per serving I think? But I made 2 packets and drank it all on my own. There are very detailed information at the back of the packagings and they also give you a list of recommended ingredients to prepare for the soup!! I didn’t follow the recommended ingredients cos it seemed like it was a bit too much to buy for me alone, if you alrdy have some of the ingredients at home then it’ll be so much easier for you to prep. (See my bad example and ugly presentation at last pic)

I also recommend this as a hotpot soup base when you invite your friends over for cny/ housewarming/ bdays etc. It’s just a paste and it’s alrdy nice on its own, I never had a Korean tofu soup hotpot before but I’d sure love it HAHAHHA it’s only $5.90 for a packet of 4!!!!
