OSAKA | save this before you head to USJ! 🎢

of course the best way to maximise your time at USJ would be to get the express tickets but since we got a normal ticket, we had to be very strategic with how we planned our day at USJ! we only had 2 priorities which were the rollercoasters & super nintendo world. thus, we completely skipped all the shows.

here’s how we maximised our time & cleared everything we wanted to do:

1. 𝙋𝙧𝙞𝙤𝙧𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙨𝙚 & 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙩𝙚 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙙𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 🗺️

At Jurassic World, The Flying Dinosaur is the BEST rollercoaster in the theme park so we wanted to quickly get to that first before the queue gets too long! even before 9.30am the waiting time for this rollercoaster was already 45 minutes and all the subsequent rollercoasters we took had a waiting time of 1-1.5 hours. you can refer to the 2nd pic for the rollercoasters we took - we skipped the kiddy ones!

2. 𝘿𝙤𝙬𝙣𝙡𝙤𝙖𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙐𝙎𝙅 𝙖𝙥𝙥 𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙙𝙫𝙖𝙣𝙘𝙚 📱

you NEED the USJ app in order to book your time slot for super nintendo world so instead of wasting time downloading at the park, download it first so you can quickly secure a time slot once you’re in the park! when we entered the park at 9am, we RAN to super nintendo world first to get them to help us navigate the app to book our slots (it was in Japanese so we couldn’t figure it out ourselves). despite getting there in minutes, the earliest slot we could get was 4pm. there were a lot of people who didn’t know that they needed to secure a time slot & couldn’t even enter the super nintendo world because it was full 🥺 so wasted! so please don’t let that happen to you.

3. 𝙄𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪’𝙧𝙚 𝙥𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙣𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙩𝙤 𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙖𝙩 𝙤𝙣𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩𝙖𝙪𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩𝙨, 𝙚𝙖𝙩 𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙡𝙞𝙚𝙧! 🍽️

we went to snoopy’s backlot cafe after our first rollercoaster ride ~11am to beat the lunch crowd and it was easy for us to find seats and it didn’t take long for our food to arrive. when we left there was a snaking long queue all the way out of the restaurant so we’re glad we went early! throughout the day we just bought various snacks from the food carts where the queue moved fast. so that’s how we saved time on this aspect!
