The lateral raise is one of the best shoulder exercises for those looking to build shoulders like boulders. It’s also a very simple movement, but many beginners will get the form wrong 😭

Here are some tips to help you get the perfect lateral raise!

☝🏻Do not go too heavy, dont try to impress your gym crush but doing 10kg lateral raises ok! Going too heavy will cause you to shrug the weights instead, causing you to use the wrong muscles😭

☝🏻Lead with your elbows, making sure your elbows lead the move will again keep the focus on your delts and minimise the stress placed on your rotator cuffs🤭

☝🏻 As your hands approach shoulder height, rotate your wrist so that your little fingers are pointing up at the sky. Turning your wrists as the DB reach the top of the move activates more muscle fibres in your side delts!
