✨Homemade Pumpkin Purée

Fall is almost here!!!!

One thing I LOVE to do, is make my own pumpkin purée. It is super easy, and fun to do and makes your recipes taste 10x better when cooking with fresh ingredient.

Directions

• preheat oven to 400F

• clean and slice baking pumpkin in half. Scoop out the seeds (set aside and you can also roast your seeds)

• place the the side you cut face down onto the baking sheet.

• Bake for 45-60mins or until you see the skin start to remove itself like in the first photo.

• remove the skin and let it cool.

• get out your food processor, I like to add a half of Tbsp of vanilla and 1Tbsp of butter. And I wait till it turns out into a purée texture.

• jar it up, and now you have your own pumpkin purée.
