SYIP 2.0 Worth the hype?

Seen endless good reviews of SYIP on my socials (TikTok/Instagram) and so I had to try it myself!! Visited SYIP’s second outlet at Bendemeer, not too far off from the first outlet. It is nestled within Luzerne building.

What we ordered:

✨ The Breakfast Tart (5/5!!!)

This unassuming pastry puff with scrambled eggs and caviar was so yummy!!! Also, the sauce adds a different dimension to the dish. THIS IS DEFINITELY MY FAVOURITE ❤️ A must-try when you are there!!

✨ Tiger Prawn Squid Ink Linguine (4/5)

This dish was slightly mediocre compared to the breakfast tart but nonetheless, the quality was there. Prawns were pretty huge and the sauce was rich with an umami flavour.

✨ Hojicha Goma (4.5/5)

Hojicha and black sesame are two of my favourites so having them both in a drink is the best of both worlds 🤍 Do kinda wish that the goma taste was more robust though! The hojicha overpowers the black sesame when mixed.

Overall, I would say that SYIP is the best cafe in Singapore for me!!! I was thoroughly impressed by the quality of food 💯 PLEASE VISIT IF YOU HAVENT, YOU ARE MISSING OUT!!!!
