GUIDE TO BINTAN 🌅

Went to Bintan in Dec 2022 for 3 days 2 nights. Stayed at Kamuela Villas Lagoi Bay, which was located near Lagoi beach where all the resorts are at.

Review of Kamuela Villas:

✅ IG Worthy

✅ Service was pretty good and fast (Communicate via WhatsApp)

❌ Breakfast was mediocre

❌ Insects such as ants and flies around due to the nature of a villa

❌ Would not suggest going for the in-house massage as the massage was not that amazing

Plaza Lagoi is right beside the villa, however, it is currently closed due to the covid situation. There are some nearby f&b stalls such as Warung!Yeah which serves affordable Indonesian food.

Day 1: Spent most of our time in the villa enjoying the private pool. Had dinner at Kelong Seafood Restaurant located at Nirvana Resort.

✅ Good service

❌ Pricey $$ (paid ~$80 for two people - 500g of crab, mantou buns, kailan and drinks)

Day 2: We hired a private driver to bring us to Gurun Pasir Busing, 500Lohan Temple and Tanjung Pinang.

📍 Gurun Pasir Busing - Highly recommend to go to take some ig worthy photos! ($2.50 entrance fee per person)

📍 500Lohan Temple - Would not recommend as I personally felt that there wasn’t much to see there ($3 entrance fee per person)

📍 THE MANABU, Tanjung Pinang - Highly recommend to visit this place during sunset timing. While it was cloudy when we went, the view was still pretty breathtaking. Food was delicious and price was very reasonable as well 💯

Day 3: We went for massage at📍 D’Bintan. They provide free transportation if you spend at least IDR750k. You can simply WhatsApp them to schedule the free transportation. They reply very promptly! Massage was not bad and cheaper than SG (paid ~$50 for 1.5hr massage)
