Digio’s sister ➡️ Rico-A-Mona

Did you know this 2 bridal stores are sister companies? 😦 meaning opened by the same boss. No wonder I find them both so similar to one another haha!

1️⃣ service & pricing

It’s exactly the same as Digio Bride!

No hard selling by staff and they encourage me to try different types of gowns even when I hesitate cause paiseh. In the end, I tried 7 gowns!

2️⃣ location

At one of the shophouses in Clarke quay in Hong Kong street. Would suggest to go Rico & Bridefully Yours together on the same day since they are so close by!

3️⃣ Gowns I tried

1st White Gown: It looked nice on the rack but sadly didn’t fit me well :( I look a little too top heavy as seen. Even if it does look good in person, if it looks bad on camera, it’s not a good choice for me when I look back into my memories 😕 I guess off shoulders aren’t for me!

2nd White Gown: Frankly, it looks simple to me at first. Now looking back at the photo and video, I think it suits me! So there and then I decided I needed a wedding gown that is tube at the top hehe.

3rd White Gown: Did not want to try at all cause I knew I wouldn’t like it. Just that it’s super fluffy and extravagant. So my consultant told me to just try it 😂 since there’s no harm, so alright. BUT WOWWWW I was shocked. I absolutely ADORED 💕 it. Look at the 3D huge flowers! 🌸🌸🌸🌸 it would be perfect for huge ballroom entrances but a bit mafan to move around that’s all hehe. But I don’t think I can pull off the from tulips design since I’m quite petite :< but do give this a try if you are going gown fitting!

Cheongsams 💃🏻: I did a collage of the 3 cheongsams I tried. But just felt cheongsams didn’t look flattering on me and I look thickkk. Wdyt?

Red Gown: I don’t recall if I tried other coloured gowns but I was delighted at this red gown. Pong pong princess vibes like digio’s white gown I tried?!?! The back view is damn chio how can?? 🥹 if I got budget or holding many wedding banquets then can choose this coloured gown for my march in la.

Nevertheless, I think the white gowns here are better than digio after going to one after another on the same day. Do check them out!! ✨
