Hello again 💓

So here is our itinerary and breakdown of the cost for 4D3N visiting Pisa, Cinque Terre and Florence.

💡 Check the weather in advance to determine which week has the perfect weather condition for clear blue skies and postcard views. I know it’s extra but I do that 😉

So, we chose to fly from London to Pisa. Check for the cheapest flight tickets here! SkyScanner ✈️

💡 Remember to choose a flight that suits your timing in Italy. If you choose a later flight, you might reach at night and pay for an extra one night’s hotel. So do compare the cost of staying one more night or pay abit more to fly earlier!

🗓️ Day 1

📍Pisa

We landed at Pisa at around 430pm. It takes 30min to travel to Pisa Centrale Station with train (€5) and another 30 minutes walk from the train station to Pisa Tower. We walked around Pisa Tower and the churches around. Took pictures and explore the place slowly. We had ample time to explore Pisa, we even queued 30minutes for ice cream and spent 30minutes walking back to the train station. The whole thing took us around 4.5 hours 🕰️.

Our next train to La Spezia is at 8:30pm.

📍Riomaggiore

We bought a train ticket to La Spezia for £27 (The prices doesn’t really change if you book earlier, so you can decide later).

It’s a 2 hours 🕰️ train ride and we had to change at La Spezia and take another train to Riomaggiore where our hotel is at. The 2nd train takes you to all of the 5 villages of Cinque Terre too.

The 2nd train runs till midnight and it’s 2 minutes to the next village. You can check the train timetable here La Spezia train timetable 💓

We arrived at Riomaggiore at around 10pm and stayed the night there.

🗓️ Day 2

📍Cinque Terre

Hiked across the 5 villages! Every village is a 2 hours hike to each. So start early! It’s €7.50 per entry to all of the hiking route.

I will talk more about the hiking trails in my next post so follow me for more! 💓

We visited all 5 villages via hiking and ended the night at around 10pm. We were blessed with beautiful weather.

So in total, we stayed 2 nights in Cinque Terre.

🗓️ Day 3

📍 Florence

We took a train back to Pisa Train Station and off we go to Florence. The train ride is around 2 hours and we left at 1pm.

Remember to check the train timetable!!

We arrived at Florence at around 3pm and our flight back to London is at 5pm the next day. So, we had half a day each to explore Florence. I’ll have a post on what to do in Florence later on, including the #bestpasta and #florentinesteak we’ve had.

Cycled and scooter around the duomo at night. Soaked in the romantic vibes on Ponte Vecchio and stayed for the night in Florence.

🗓️ Day 4

📍 Florence

Explore around Florence, head towards Florence Airport by train (€2.80pp) and fly back to London.

💓

It seems abit packed but it was ok as long as you know how the plan goes! We allocated enough time for each place and wasn’t in a rush.

The price breakdown is for per pax except for the hotels. We booked it through Airbnb and booking for one or two pax will have the same price so I just put the price there instead.
