Queued 5 hours for NCTDREAM?!?!

I finally got to see my OT7 Nct dream.

⭐️ Backstory ⭐️

I got scammed S$1k, 2 years ago for buying resell tickets for The Dream Show Singapore’s. I was desperate for the tickets because this boy group has a system where they will graduate if they reached 21yo. So that concert will be the last one they will perform together as a 7 person boy group 🥲 So I got scammed. The person deleted all our convo after receiving the money. Stupid me.

Unlucky us, the concert was cancelled due to covid 🤒

⭐️ Fast forward ⭐️

FINALLLLY ITS HAPPENING!!! It’s my first time seeing them perform irl after following them for the PAST 5 years. They’ve been my emotional support ever since I work in Singapore. Alone, in a foreign country ya know.

⭐️The Queue

8am, Twitter: Queues were cut off, people were camping.

Me: Went back to sleep.

There’s no official queue yet but everyone was camping already. So we just stayed back and wait till after lunch time.

3pm: Ok I’m abit FOMO and wants to stand in front and the official queues has been up since 10am. Let’s go.

So we end up queuing for 5 hours and when we got in….WE WERE SO CLOSE TO THE STAGE THAT WE WERE SHOCKED AND DELIGHTED.

Moral of the story: It’s ok to not camp for concerts.

The concert was amazing, I cried.

💚TIPS 💚

1. Wear comfortable shoes, if you have, comfortable shoes WITH PLATFORM 🤭

2. Eat before you queue and prepare some snacks! The mosh pit is crazy, so many people fainted, so take care of yourself!

3. Do not bring a bulky bag. It’s hard to manoeuvre around when everyone is crushing you. Do not underestimate how crazy kpop fans are.

4. Bring a toy to throw on stage! DREAMIES take anything they seeeeeeee.

Ok that’s all for now. Singapore’s concert is on the 2nd of May 2023 and 20th May in Kuala Lumpur. Make sure to get your tickets!
