Welcome to Tribal Dining, launched by the Ebb and Flow Group, this is a concept of cooking ingredients over wood fire which is not something you see often in restaurants in Singapore!
For starters:
Flatbread with Miso butter ($14++)
The flatbread arrived so fluffy and warm, the butter quickly melted and glistened against the bread. Soft and delightful
Amela tomatoes ($22++)
The tomatoes was very fresh and juicy! It paired very well with the anchovy cream and some freshness from the herbs.
Grilled Celeriac ($16++)
Celeriac is a hybrid between a Celery and Turnip. The grilling allowed it to have a sweet caramelised taste and pleasant to eat along with the macadamia nuts.
Bino Scallops
Haven't had good Scallops cooked in a loong time 😋 The garlic sauce had abit of citrus in it which kind of lifted the dish as a whole. My tip is to have the sauce with some flatbread!
For Mains:
The star of the show, Iwate Wagyu Striploin 200g ($128++) it is good for sharing and it does not come off as too hard to chew or fatty. It has a nice amount of tenderness and was very clean tasting.
For Dessert:
Bibingka with Kaya Ice cream
Bibingka is a traditional Rice cake dessert in the Philippines 🇵🇭 the cakey texture felt soo good with the hint of pandan from the kaya ice cream
Smores!!!
This must be a crowd favourite
Smores served together with a starfruit sorbet, to have a palate cleanser after eating such a decadent dessert, so well thought.
Overall, this place is definitely a good place to come down and try their grilled meats, showstopping desserts and just an interesting concept for a date night.
