The best way to make it look like you have a smaller waist, is by growing your lats, shoulders, back, and legs. Growing these muscle groups will give the illusion of a smaller waist. When I first started my fitness journey, I hit legs every single day. I neglected my upper body a lot which started to affect my strength in other areas. My cycle now is push/pull days and leg days consisting of about 2 push/pull and 3 leg days. Iโ€™m going to drop some exercise tips that helped me LOOK like a have a smaller waist. ๐Ÿค

โœฐPush Days: I used to hate working out shoulders until I started to see how much it was changing my front view. Growing your shoulders is an amazing way to look like you have a smaller waist. Shoulder presses of all forms helped me a lot!

โœฐPull Days: Grow your lats! I used to be scared that if I worked out my back I would look more โ€œmanlyโ€ (so stupid ik). But then I began to see how nice my back looked toned! Lat pull-downs, and single armed rows are great exercises!

โœฐLeg days: Growing your legs is also key. Leg extensions, Leg Press, Hamstring curls, Calve Raises! (DO NOT NEGLECT THEM), and squats! Always try to hit as many muscle groups are you can on leg days in order to see the most growth!
