This egg slaps!

Mayak Gyeran or otherwise known as Korean marinated eggs! Sweet and yet savoury at the same time, but yet so addictive! Some of us know it as drugs eggs, because of how addictive it is.

Feel free to drizzle some sesame oil when u add the marinated eggs on top of a bowl of white rice. Do not forget the marinate sauce too!

Ingredients needs for boiling the eggs:

A pot of water enough to cover 6 eggs

2tablespoonsoon of white vinegar

2teaspoonsoon of salt

Ingredients for marinate sauce:

120ml light soya suace

120ml water (room temperature)

160g honey. ( can be substitute with sugar, but do reduce the amount to 120g)

Dry ingredients:

6 eggs (room temperature)

3-4 stalks of spring onion

4 cloves of garlic (I omit as my hubby has garlic allergy)

2 red chillies

2 green chillies

1 tablespoon of sesame seed

Extra points to take note of:

Large bowl of water and some ice to cool down the eggs.
