Finally made kimchi pancake at home! Always have random cravings for kimchi pancake and sometimes find the good ones a little over-priced in restaurant. Love how simple it is and really sets your appetite right for the meal. K loves this and can't get enough when I made them 😊
Ingredients:
½ cup all purpose flour
4 scallions
¼ white onion (skip if you don't like onions)
200g of kimchi (feel free to add lesser or more according to preference) - chopped them up a little
2 to 4 spoon of kimchi brine
½ teaspoon of sugar
Pinch of salt
½ cup water
3 spoonful of vegetable oil
Steps:
1. Add all ingredients in a large bowl and mix well
2. Pour the batter to a well-oiled non-stick pan
3. Important to press the batter down to crisp the underside. Cook for 3 to 5 minutes on medium heat before flipping over
4. Repeat the step after flipping.
