firstly, the calculation of the interest on the UOB ONE account!! as seen in the second image, a deposit of $150,000 would give you an annual interest of (3% * $75,000 = $2250) + (4.5% * $50,000 = $2250) + (6% * $25,000 = $1500) = $6,000 credited monthly, which would equate to $500 per month😊😊 do note that you would have to spend a minimum of $500 on eligible UOB cards and credit your salary via GIRO to get this interest!!

secondly, as seen in the third image!! the nation of savers promotion would give you an additional $1,100 for a $150,000 deposit kept in the account for 5 months!! this averages out to $1100/5 = $220 per month😊😊

for comparison!! this is equivalent to ($720*12)/$150,000 = 0.0576, which is a 5.76% annual interest - for a period of 5 months:)) from my research, this is higher than any high savings interest accounts out there!!

- the incremental fresh funds also cannot be accumulated across the same account holder’s UOB accounts, meaning the fresh funds into the eligible savings account under the promotion will need to come from a different bank!!
